Thoroughly renovated and modernised, while maintaining its heritage atmosphere, Jesmond Dene House offers luxury boutique accommodation, award-winning cuisine and a quiet, secluded location, just ten minutes from the bustling centre of Newcastle.Ideal for both business and pleasure in the city, surrounded by lush gardens and verdant parkland, Jesmond Dene House is just an eight minute walk from the nearest metro station, and within easy reach of Newcastle's most important landmarks and attractions, including the Great North Museum, the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the seven bridges over the Tyne or the Quayside, among many other fascinating sights. The restaurant at Jesmond Dene House is the proud holder of three AA Rosettes, and serves a delicious range of menus based on classical cooking techniques, contemporary cuisine and the finest, locally sourced ingredients. Tucked away under the eaves, this large, open-plan room has sloping ceilings and warm, autumnal colours. As well as a super king-size bed and roomy seating area with sofa, there's a hidden, turreted roof terrace with views over trees and rooftops. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and bath. The Apartment Suite: A bold and romantic rooftop hideaway with a large private terrace. A private staircase leads to this under-eaves, open-plan room, strikingly decorated in pink and grey. Sloping ceilings and large skylight windows keep it light but cosy. As well as a spacious seating area, there's a large dining terrace for romantic drinks and rooftop views. The bathroom has a bath and walk-in double shower. One super king-size bed. Room size 71 sq m.
