Dining: The restaurant has a unique architectural design. Its vault is hard to find elsewhere, and even less common is its door, which comes from the ancient Hindu temple Pashaguati. Temazcal: Prehispanic steam bath that uses herbs to detoxify the body and mind. "Temazcalli" means "bath house" in Nahuatl. This ritual of purification has been used in the Aztec, Maya, Olmec and Zapotec cultures, among many others around the world. In this magic room enter the womb of the Mother Earth and through a purification ceremony performed by a real shaman from Amatlán town, clean your body of physical and emotional toxins.
Initiatory purification bath: Hostal de la Luz offers, for the first time worldwide, a unique therapy. Your skin recieves the warmth of energized subsurface water, rich in ferrite, while your body rests comfortably on large quartz and hundreds of river stones. Changing water lights provide the benefits of color therapy, your ears will rejoice at the Music Therapy directed to each one of your chakras, and you will receive the pleasant smell of aromatherapy scents. While all this happens, gaze upon the magnificence of the mountains of Tepozteco. Dare to purify each of your senses, so your soul starts a journey to eternity.
Meditation: Meditation is a personal experience that quiets the mind, emotions and senses. It can be practiced alone or in groups. Its ultimate goal is to enlighten the mind and open the heart and unconditional compassion.
Yoga: The term "Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning union or bond. Through various postures and certain psychophysical exercises synchronized with your breath, experience an integration of body, mind and soul and a sense of unity with all life.
Chi Kung: Chi Kung means work on the vital energy. The Chi Kung technique derives from an oldest one known as Dao Yin. The Chinese Ministry of Health officially recognized the therapeutic value of Chi Kung and recommended practice. Chi circulates through the body through the channels and meridians. Chi nourishes the body and defends it clean. For the body to stay healthy is required unobstructed movement of Chi.
Labyrinths: The mazes of Hostal de la Luz are ready for you to walk them slowly and in sync with your breath. Try the Labyrinth of the Pyramid or the Labyrinth of Chartres, in the Garden of Light.
Guided Mountain Hike: Amatlán is a historical site that is part of Unknown Mexico. The friendliness of the valley has been preserved in the hospitality to visitors. Some sites of interest that can be accessed in the company of the guides are: the rock paintings, the pool of Quetzalcoatl and El Mirador.

CANCELLATIONS: Modifications 2 Day(s) on or before the check-in date will be charged 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
Cancellations: No additional charge will apply if you cancel up to 2 Day(s) or more before your arrival date. If cancelled later, 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
No-show: Guests who do not arrive within 24 hours of the check-in date and time of the hotel will be charged the first night of the reservation.

Minimum Stay on Weekends: There is a 2-night-stay requirement for the Junior Suites and Suites during weekends. Kindly contact the hotel to know about the nightly rates.
Weekend Bookings: For bookings on weekends for the Villa Suite, Gran Master Suite, Master Suite King Bed and Master Suite 2 Double Beds, please contact the hotel.
