This charming family hotel offers delightful accommodation and award-winning cuisine in a peaceful rural location.Strategically situated between Bath and Chippenham, Beechfield House is a magnificent spot for exploring this beautiful corner of Wiltshire, and such nearby attractions as the medieval village of Lacock, Longleat, and countless landmarks and points of interest in Wiltshire, Somerset and the Cotswolds. Long a favourite with hotel guests and local residents alike, the Beechfield House restaurant is the proud holder an AA Rosette, and offers first-class gourmet cuisine based on home grown fruit and vegetables, along with meat and poultry sourced from nearby small farms in Wiltshire and Somerset with strict animal welfare properties, as well as local artisan suppliers. Type of rooms: Beechfield HouseCosy Rooms:Situated in the attached coach house, these rooms are more contemporary in style and are available with either super king-size double or twin beds. All have luxurious full Italian marble bathrooms, some are ground floor and some have high ceilings and exposed beams. Classic Rooms: Situated on the first and second floors of the main house, each of these delightful rooms are classically furnished and are available with either super king-size double or twin beds. These rooms can accommodate a family of three with a sofa-bed or additional Z bed. Comfy Rooms: These are larger rooms situated in the main house with garden or woodland views. Each room has a contemporary open pencil-post super king-size four-poster bed and a luxurious sofa-bed. These spacious rooms can also accommodate a family of five with additional Z beds. Master Bedroom: The largest room situated in the original part of the country house, with a four-poster king-size bed that makes a statement as you enter the room. It has delightful views of the front lawn and directly overlooks the Cedar tree. Perfect for wedding nights, anniversaries or any other special celebration stay away. While some rooms may have no stairs, they are not adapted for wheelchairs nor include disabled facilities as such. Additional information: Beechfield HousePets are allowed on prior request. From the Southwest: Heading East on the A303, take the exit for the A350, just after West Knoyle, and continue North until entering the village of Beanacre.
