Nestled deep in a secluded corner of the Amakhala Game Reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa, HillsNek Safari Camp is an intimate family-run lodge, set on the banks of the Bushman's River with a breathtaking views of the rolling African plains. This spectacular property offers exclusive, unique safari experiences, where privacy and personalized attention is the hallmark of every stay.

Providing authentic, luxurious safari accommodation in just four spacious tents, HillsNek Safari Camp is perfect for couples, families or groups of friends who wish to enjoy a genuine wildlife experience in a socially responsible, ecologically aware environment. HillsNek organises a fabulous range of game-based activities, including personalized game drives in an open game-viewing vehicle, bird watching, river cruises, guided bush-walks outside the "big five" area, and many other fascinating options. Children are very welcome at HillsNek Safari Camp, all children aged ten or under receive an exclusive 'Ranger Bag', and a child friendly menu is also available.

After a day in the bush, guests can relax with a cooling dip in the outdoor pool, and then settle down to enjoy the fabulous African sunsets followed by a delicious evening meals featuring bush-inspired cuisine by the copper bowl fireplace, to the backdrop of fabulous starry nights and the Milky Way. Luxury Safari Tent:
These spacious tents have a wooden deck with outdoor furniture and panoramic views of the African Plains. They are equipped with a sitting area, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, a fan, heater and mini-bar. They also have an outdoor shower and a free-standing bath. Two guests. One king-size bed or two single beds. Tent size 36 sq m.
Luxury Safari Tent (Family Tent):
These spacious tent feature a balcony, a private entrance and a seating area. The main bedroom has access to a deck with panoramic views. There is an extra, smaller, adjacent bedroom with a double fold-out bed for children. Up to four guests. One king-size bed or two single beds, one sofa bed.
Tent size 45 sq m.

All four tents feature: deep free-standing baths; dual basins; romantic outdoor showers; bathrobes; tea and coffee-making facilities; complimentary mini-bar; king-size beds; white Percale linen; sitting area; desk; heated bed sheet; standing fan; oil heater; outside sitting and dining area. There is no access at the lodge to TV, internet, fax or a land-line telephone. Cell phone reception is available however and rangers and hosts have contact if an emergency arises.
