With just two enormous suites, guests at Breitner House enjoy intimacy and great comfort, in an atmosphere of refined luxury that is matched by the lavish treatment such as a luxurious champagne breakfast, served every morning in the classic dining room, with views over the park.

Breitner House features two luxurious suites, transformed from the former studios of the Dutch impressionist painters George Breitner and Isaac Israels into peaceful havens of refined elegance. Both suites are stylishly decorated with accents of silk, velour and brocade fabrics. The authentic, ornamented ceilings in combination with Italian chandeliers and canopies provide regal peace and comfort. To preserve the historic nature of the building, they did not add air-conditioning or an elevator.

Isaac Israels Suite:
The Israels Suite is situated on the ground floor, overlooking the beautiful private garden with a private terrace amidst rare fruit trees, flowers, statues and a small pond. The suite, decorated in a palette of powder blues and sand, consists of a personal writing desk overlooking the garden, large armchairs, a fireplace, uniquely constructed authentic ornamented ceilings, Italian chandeliers, and a canopy made from the finest linen. The private Italian decorated bathroom has a separate walk-in shower with rain-shower head, a choice of luxury toiletries, bathrobe and slippers and hair-dryer. Suite size approximately 70 sq m.
George Breitner Suite:
This spacious, luxurious suite offers a panoramic view of the Oosterpark and the monumental Tropenmuseum. The suite consists of a personal writing desk overlooking the garden, a large divan, a fireplace, Italian chandeliers and a canopy bed with the finest linen. A great wall painting of irises in gold and blue emphasizes the historical past of painters. Guests can enjoy the spacious private bathroom, including a bathtub and separate shower. Suite size approximately 80 sq m.
