Set at the head of a spectacular valley in the heart of the mountains of Andorra, L’Ovella Negra offers boutique-style accommodation in an authentic mountain lodge atmosphere. With just four rooms and space for a total of twelve guests, L’Ovella Negra is a hidden retreat where guests can switch off and wind down while enjoying delicious cuisine and a great atmosphere. As an indication of its remote nature, this idyllic spot can only be reached by snow-cat in winter.

Ideal for cosy stays whatever the season, L’Ovella Negra has something for sports enthusiasts throughout the year. In winter, guests can enjoy ski mountaineering from the doorstep, ski-do rides, or snow-shoeing, while the warmer months offer an immense range of outdoor activities, from hiking to cycling and much more. L’Ovella Negra’s on-site guides can provide expert advice on all activities. Other highlights include yoga retreats and weekly live music nights in July and August.

L’Ovella Negra has two spaces for dining. In the main building, the Lodge Canteen serves simple but delicious mountain-style cooking, while outside, the “Summer Pop-up” is perfect for open-air dining in spring and summer. In the colder seasons, this becomes the “Winter Shack”, with its own fireplace and two communal tables. Whatever the time of year, the emphasis is always on slow food and kilometre-zero produce.

Double Room: These warm, comfortable rooms are swathed in mohair blankets, crisp white sheets and Andrew Martin fabrics. The dark oak wood of the room is the perfect complement to the cosy lighting. Quadruple Room: These flexible rooms can sleep four friends on separate beds, a family of four with two children up on the mezzanine, or even two couples. In keeping with the old mountain lodges of Andorra, rooms are minimalistic with a focus on natural materials and the views of the mountains and the valley. 4 Twin beds. Mountain and forest views.
