Located in the heart of the hills of Oviedo, Castillo Bosque de la Zoreda is set in a spectacularly restored and modernised mansion, originally built in the 1930's. Situated just eight kilometres from the centre of Oviedo, many of the city's most important landmarks and attractions are a short drive from the hotel, including the cathedral and the pre-Romanesque shrines of San Miguel de Lillo and Santa Maria del Naranco, and of course the peak of mount Naranco itself. A number of excursions can be organised directly from the hotel, including trips to Gijon and the coast, the Picos de Europa and the Covadonga Lakes, nature and wildlife reserves.

Castillo Bosque de la Zoreda hosts a fine restaurant, the Arlos, where the chef and his team create delicious menus based on the traditional cuisine of Asturias with modern touches of inventiveness and the accent on the finest local produce.
