The Hochkar ski area offers excellent family orientated facilities for downhill skiing and snowboarding, alone with cross country skiing, snow-shoe and winter hiking trails, horse-drawn sleigh rides and ice-skating. In the summer, guests can enjoy mountain biking, hiking and Nordic walking, and much more. The Wild Wonder Card, included in room prices, provides free entry to over 40 attractions in the area.

Hotel Fahrnberger's restaurant offers tasty menus based on lovingly prepared fresh ingredients and selected produce from the Mostviertel Region and local organic farms, accompanied by wines from the well-stocked wine cellar. Guests can also wind down and recharge in the spa and wellness centre, which features a Finnish pine sauna, an aroma steam bath, an infra-red sauna, and a quiet room with panoramic views. Rooms at Hotel Fahrnberger are divided into three basic categories.
The Main House Rooms have been carefully renovated in a historic, traditional style with natural fibres and timber flooring, and each room is absolutely unique.
The newly built Annex houses the Bon Vivant rooms and Family Rooms, as well as the extremely comfortable and relaxing Spa. Bon Vivant Rooms are furnished in a typical local style and have been commended by the County of Lower Austria. Bon Vivant Rooms are equipped with either a balcony or canopy bed, a flat-screen TV, a DCD player, tea making facilities, a mini-bar and a separate bathroom and toilet.

Decorated with wooden furnishings, these comfortable rural-style rooms come with flat-screen satellite TV, a bathroom with a shower, and free Wi-Fi or free wired internet. One large double bed. Room size 20 sq m.
