In comparison to the rest of the island, the capital Denpasar is a bustling city with the museum Pura Jagatnath, the state temple of Bali and the vibrant market all worth exploring. The beaches to the south of the island - Jimbaran, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Nusa Lembongan, Sanur and Soka - are perhaps Bali's greatest draw where sunbathing can be combined with surfing, windsurfing, snorkelling and diving.
