Hotel D has the Convention Center Messe Basel nearby and is only an hour from Zurich and 20 minutes from Basel Airport by car. The main train station can be reached in minutes 10 by tram. Guests who prefer to stay put can explore the city or take a walk along the banks of the Rhine.

Hotel D-Basel is 48 rooms and suites feature contemporary decor and luxury furnishings. All rooms are air-conditioned and boast a range of amenities, including free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations and safes, rainshowers and minibars.

Maximum occupancy of each room is 2 or 3 people and have one double bed or two single beds, depending on room category.

Standard: These soundproofed rooms measure 15 sq m and have queen size beds, desks and private bathrooms with free toiletries. Rooms cannot accommodate extra beds.
Deluxe: Air-conditioned and soundproofed, these 20 sq m rooms have larger HD TVs, with certain rooms featuring a sofa bed and additional TV.
Executive: With king size double bed and large HD TVs, these rooms measure 25 sq m there is the possibility to have king size bed or on request twin beds. Rooms cannot accommodate extra beds.
Suite: Located on the top floor, the hotel suite is 30 sq m and has an extra-large double bed. The suite also has desk, lounge area and its own terrace with a landscape view. There is an additional TV in the bathroom.

Extra Bed: CHF 35 per night. This does not include breakfast. An extra bed is only upon request and subject to availability and is only in Deluxe or Suite room category. No extra bed in the Executive or Standard room category.
