Now in its second generation of ownership, this charming property stands by rolling Alpine meadows on the edge of the pretty little village of Oberstdorf-Schöllang, in the Allgäu region of Bavaria. Owned and run by the same family since 1930, Schittlerhaus offers delightful accommodation in a beautiful, authentic mountain setting.

Ideal for outdoor holidays in all seasons, Schittlerhaus is within easy reach of several excellent ski areas, including the Kleinwalsertal ski area in Austria, and a little closer to home, Oberstdorf, with the famous Erdinger Arena ski jump. In summer, guests can enjoy 200 kilometres of fabulous mountain biking trails around Oberstdorf, and the region's beautiful landscapes are also a hiker's paradise. To cool off after all this exertion, the house boasts an outdoor pool, a sun terrace and a carefully tended garden.

All apartments at Schittlerhaus have a fully equipped kitchen, and guests can also make use of full common kitchen and lounge facilities in the "Jagdstube", a cosy former hunt room with space for eighteen guests. It is the ideal spot for evening snacks, meeting other guests, or intimate birthday or wedding celebrations.

This two-person apartment has a living room with kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, and a large sun terrace with pool access. Extra facilities are available in the "Jagdstube" club room. Apartment size 30 sq m.
Rosenrot - Sternenblau - Maigrün:
These spacious apartments feature a separate bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a convertible sofa, and a kitchen area. Rosenrot and Maigrün also have a wood-burning stove. The en-suite bathroom comes with a shower and WC. Suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

This spacious apartment has two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and a second bedroom with a bunk bed. It also has a living room with a sofa and a kitchen and dining area, and an en-suite shower room and a separate WC. Suitable for 2 to 4 guests. Apartment size 53 sq m.
Edelweiss:
This large apartment comes with two bedrooms, both with double beds. The master bedroom also has an en-suite wash-room, and there is a bathroom with shower and WC. The living room has a sofa-bed and and kitchen area, a wood burning stove and stylish wooden flooring. This apartment can accommodate 4 guests. Apartment size 65 sq m.
