Nestled by one of the most beautiful stretches of the river Thames, guests at Cliveden can enjoy a range of boat trip on one of the hotel's unique fleet of lovingly restored vintage launches. Other on-site activities available include tennis (indoor and outdoor), squash, a fully equipped gym or simply strolling in the beautiful historic gardens. Junior Suites: The Junior Suites have a king size handmade Cliveden bed with lounge area and en-suite bathroom, and are located on the first or second floors. Deluxe Suites: Luxurious and generously proportioned, Deluxe Suites have high ceilings, are decorated with antiques and original works of art and offer very spacious lounge areas. All Deluxe Suites have fireplaces adding style and character to the rooms, period features and a generously proportioned separate or open plan lounge area. Some Deluxe Suites have a separate dressing room, and all enjoy spectacular open views of the estate and some even look over the iconic nineteenth-century Parterre, designed by Fleming. Inchiquin - 2-Bedroom Deluxe Suite: Luxurious and generously proportioned, The Inchiquin Suite has high ceilings and is decorated with antiques and original works of art. Located on the first/top floor of the East Wing, overlooking the Grand Drive, Fountain of Love and the gardens. There is a double bedded room and a second double bed located within the large living room, which has a side view of the gardens. The room is a powder pink theme inspired by the painting, coral and aubergine, Belle époque. Two king-size beds or one king-size bed and twin beds. Suite size 65 sq m. Parterre Deluxe Suite - The Prince of Wales Suite: The Prince of Wales Suite is one of the two Parterre Suites. Offering grand and unique accommodation it is luxurious and generously proportioned. Enjoying high ceilings, decorated with antiques and original works of art and a very spacious lounge area, the Prince of Wales Suite enjoys a spectacular view and looks over the iconic nineteenth-century Parterre, designed by Fleming. Located in the Main Mansion (second floor). There is a breathtaking view of the Parterre from the bedroom as well as from the large separate living room. There is also a large hall and a dressing area. The bathroom is very large with dramatic dark red frescoed decorations. Suite size 75 sq m. Parterre Deluxe Suite - Lady Astor Suite: The Lady Astor Suite is one of the Parterre Suites and is luxurious and generously proportioned with great views and a large private terrace. The Lady Astor Suite has high ceilings, is decorated with antiques and original works of art and is very spacious. Located in the Main Mansion (first floor). Lady Astor was the most famous hostess in Cliveden's colourful history. Her bedroom is little changed from that time and now offers guests one of the very grandest suites in England. The mighty over mantel, with its myriad of mythical creatures, heraldic devices and exuberant ornamentation provides a stunning focus of attention that dates from the reign of Elizabeth I. The windows flood the room with light and provide sweeping views over the Parterre and River Thames beyond, while the furnishings are particularly lavish. Suite size 75 sq m. Spring Cottage - Romantic Hideaway: This is a stunningly refurbished picturesque three-bedroom cottage, set on the banks of the River Thames, offering the utmost in privacy and escapism. Originally built as a Summerhouse and Tea Room for the Countess of Orkney in 1813, this charming and picturesque cottage, has two double Bedrooms (1 en-suite), and a large Bathroom complete with walk-in shower, bath and splash TV. There is also The Snug a cosy lounge with a real fireplace (The Snug can also be made into an additional double bedroom via 135 cm sofa-bed), children's Room (complete with 2 single beds - 1 pullout). There is also a very large lounge with open fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating and a large 50inch Bang and Olufsen Plasma TV, and much, much more. Cottage size 250 sq m.
