The first of the destinations we want to mention is a favourite for those who want to escape the winter and enjoy beautiful beaches and a paradisiacal climate. In other words, for those who want something completely different.
Located just a few hours by bus and boat from Rio de Janeiro, it is one of the best ways to enjoy the South American summer at this time of year. This island is about 193 kilometers long, which means that there are many and very diverse beaches to enjoy.
But, in addition, for those who enjoy being active, this island has many hiking trails to choose from. It is also possible to go on diving and snorkeling excursions to admire the seabed and the marine flora and fauna of what is popularly known as the “Brazilian Caribbean”.
Tavira, Portugal

Although it is winter, Tavira, in Portugal, stands out for having mild temperatures and winters that do not bother and do not represent an impediment to enjoying different activities.
Certainly, one of the highlights of this place has to do with the beautiful beaches of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Both the beaches of Cabanas Island and Tavira Island are particularly characterized by their large stretches of golden sand that run into a calm and safe sea.

An excellent way to start a tour of this city is to visit Hagia Sophia, which is considered a marvel of Byzantine art, more than 1,500 years old. But you can also marvel at the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace.
