Surrounded by one of Panama's historic coffee plantations, Fince Lerida is set in a charming Nordic-style estate, originally built in the 1920s by the Norwegian engineer Tollef Monniche. Carefully renovated by its present owners, this magnificent property offers cosy accommodation, great food and of course fabulous coffee in a lush, secluded location.

A marvellous spot for relaxing stays in the heart of this beautiful region of Panama, in the shadow of the Volcán Barú and just seventeen kilometres from the Jungla de Panama Wildlife Refuge, Finca Lerida is and ideal starting point for hiking, bird-watching expeditions and coffee tours. Finca Lerida borders Amistad National Park (PILA), a natural reserve protected both by Panama and Costa Rica that has been declared a World Heritage Site, and offers fabulous opportunities for easy hiking and wildlife observation. Finca Lerida's fascinating coffee tour takes guests through the plantation and all the processes of production, ending with a tasting of the estate's coffee, widely recognised as being among the finest in the world.

Finca Lerida's on-site restaurant, La Brulerie, serves a delicious selection of menus based on traditional Panama cuisine combined with international fusion elements, always based on the finest locally sourced ingredients, and served in the elegant surroundings of the airy, spacious dining area. Meals can also be enjoyed on the veranda, and both venues offer fabulous views of the plantation and the surrounding hills and valleys.

Standard Room - Vintage:
Surrounded by gardens, the standard rooms offer a vintage atmosphere with Scandinavian décor noticeable in every detail. Guests can choose a room with one king-size bed or two double beds. These rooms have been the guest houses since the 1920s, and were built by Tollef Monniche for his visitors. Room size 15 sq m.
Deluxe Room:
Each Deluxe Room has its own terrace, complete with a comfortable hammock to enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains and the coffee plantation. Guests may choose a room with one king-size bed or two queen-size beds. Room size 20 sq m.
Suites:
The six suites offer a romantic and cosy atmosphere, with an excellent location. They include a family room with a fireplace, and a luxurious bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a shower. From the balcony, guests can warm up by the fireplace while taking in some of the best views of the property. Guests can choose a room with one king-size bed or two queen-size beds. Historic Suite - Casa Centenario:
The Historic Suite, named "Casa Centenario" was designed and built back in 1908 by Toleff Monniche, taking 10 years of hand-crafted labour to build. This historic home has a cosy living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a family room, library, and a second floor with relaxing antique atmosphere.
