Since the 14th Century, the house has been situated in the first paved street of the city in the most prestigious area of Brussels. In 1695 the heart of Brussels was bombed by Maréchal de Villeroy and left in ruins. Rebuilt to grandeur at the end of the 17th Century, Le Dixseptième became the residence of the Spanish Ambassador, during which time, the magnificent oak staircase and marble fire-places were added.

Thanks to a painstakingly scrupulous restoration, Le Dixseptième is the perfect site for seminars, banquets and elegant soirées. The two lavish halls, with wooden parquet flooring, crystal chandeliers and paintings make any occasion momentous. Catering for your event can be arranged through the management. You can enjoy a drink in their lavish bar or continue your day's work in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Some bedrooms are located in the antique, classic part while others are located in the modern part of the hotel.

The antique part of the hotel has large Suites, Junior Suites, and Executive Suites as well as Superior Suites and duplex Suite Courtens. The luxurious classic rooms feature sitting rooms and authentic fireplaces. Some have terraces.

The contemporary part of the hotel has 12 Standard Rooms and Junior Suites. The modern rooms are named after Belgian painters and enjoy a relaxing view overlooking the interior garden.

All rooms can accommodate at least two people. The bed is the same for single occupancy or double occupancy.The bed is 160 cm x 200 cm or two single beds pushed together. All rooms are individually decorated and have a minibar, in-room safe, 24 hr room service, phone, air-conditioning and heating.
