Merecumbe Hotel, Buritaca

Dining: There's always something on the menu for every taste and time even vegetarian or vegan travelers. All meals (breakfast, lunch and supper) are included at this secluded hotel.

Activities: Try a relaxing and invigorating massage on the beach or read in the comfortable seating area with hammocks and sun loungers overlooking the sea. Book the massage in advance.

Wake up early and take a walk along the beach to the mouth of one of the rivers springing from the Sierra Nevada and ending at the stunning Caribbean:
Buritaca River, just 1 km away or Guachaca River, 4 kilometers away.

Swim in the salty sea and then take a dip in freshwater. Rent an inflated inner tube from a local place to float down the river and watch the wildlife.

Visit the nearby national parks and reserves: Flamingos, Tayrona and Quebrada Valencia for hiking and bird watching.

Visit beaches like Cinto, Neguanje and Playa Cristal.

Note: there is no hot water or TV.

Safety: Merecumbe Hotel is not responsible for any personal property of guests, for this reason the hotel provides a safe for each room. Merecumbe Hotel is not responsible for any accidents that occur during your stay. Located in a secluded natural area, caution is synonymous of safety.
Children: People under three (3) years old stay for free.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations or changes between 10 and 5 days before the plan starting will have a charge of 1 night of lodging.

From bookings from 2 days or more:
- If cancellation is done 4 days before of the arrival day will have a charge of 50% of the total.
- If cancellation is done 3 days before of the arrival day will have a charge of 75% of the total.
- If cancellation is done 2 days before of the arrival day will have a charge of 85% of the total.
- If cancellation is done 1 days before of the arrival day will have a charge of 100% of the total.

Once the guest arrives and takes the plan in the hotel, the services included will not be combined or redeemable.
If cancellation is done with no penalty, the hotel will charge an amount of $100.000 pesos (Colombian pesos) by administrative expenses.
