Outdoor activities available in the area include horse riding, mountain biking, rafting and golf. The Atlantic beaches are a surfer's paradise, and courses can be arranged with a nearby surf school.

Within the Quinta itself, guests can enjoy the fabulous gardens and a large outdoor swimming pool, or enjoy a game of tennis. Indoors, billiards or chess are available in the games room, and there is a cosy library for quiet moments of relaxation by the crackling fire. The pleasures of the table are not forgotten here, and on request, guests can enjoy delicious dinners featuring traditional local recipes and the finest local produce. The Quinta's splendid breakfasts are served in the Casa do Lagar or the adjacent courtyard.
