Description: Hotel Parque QuilquicoSurrounded by ten hectares of native forest parkland on the Rilan peninsula of Chiloé island, Hotel Parque Quilquico is a charming lodge-style hotel, consisting of a uniquely designed central building and eight ''palafitos'', the typical houses on stilts of the island. How to get here: From the North: From Ruta 5 Sur, head towards Puerto Montt and take the route to Pargua, leading directly to the ferry port. Ferries depart continuously to Chiloe. After a 45 mins sailing, you will arrive at the Chacao port, located on Isla Grande de Chiloe. Take Ruta 5 Sur to Castro, until the second crossroads (82 kms from Pargua) to Dalcahue at the Llau Llao crossing where you have to make a left, always heading towards Dalcahue. Then merge onto the W-55 Putemun route, until you reach the Rilan crossing (4-5 km). You have to turn right, following directions for Rilan. Now continue on the W-65 for 7 km, until the Quilquico crossing, where you will find a sign from the Hotel. Then make a left onto an unpaved road. Look for a red house on the left. The little village of Quilquico is after 700 mts. Passing by the local Church, you will find on your left an unpaved road that will take you straight to the hotel. From Castro: take Route 5 north towards Ancud, after approx. 4 km. you will find the crossroads Llao Llau - crossroads, where you turn right towards Dalcahue. From there, take the Putemún W-55 road to the Rialn junction (aprox. 4,5 km), where you turn right, following the road towards Rilan. Now take the W-65 road for approximately 7 kms. to the "Quilquico" intersection where there is a sign for the hotel. You continue on the left on an unpaved road. Then make a left onto an unpaved road. Look for a red house on the left. The little village of Quilquico is after 700 mts. Passing by the local Church, you will find on your left an unpaved road that will take you straight to the hotel.
