Ideally placed for relaxing visits to this beautiful corner of Crete, away from the hustle and bustle of the typical tourist centres, Villa Athermigo is within easy reach of many of the most outstanding points of interest in Apokoronas, including Kournas Lake, Georgioupolis and its harbour, the Monastery of Karydi, and the ancient city of Aptera, among many other fascinating sights. The nearest beach is at Almyrida, just six kilometres away, and the region is a haven for hikers and mountain bikers, with countless trails criss-crossing the hills and olive groves.

Villa Athermigo can be booked for exclusive use or the cottages can be reserved individually. Guests in all three cottages share a luxurious lounge and kitchen as well as the courtyard and garden with its secluded private swimming pool and whirlpool bath. Karydia Cottage with Shared Pool:
Karydia, a ground level cottage, can accommodate up to two guests. It has a king size bed, that can be converted to a twin, a writing desk and fireplace and a bathroom with shower. Its terrace, located at the exterior area of the cottage house, offers great views to the garden and the pool of the complex. The Karydia Cottage is easily accessible to guests with mobility limitations. Cottage Area: 40 sq m.
Elia Cottage with Shared Pool:
Elia, a two-storey Cottage may accommodate up to four guests. It has a double built-in bed, a writing desk with fireplace as well as a bathroom with shower on the ground floor. An internal staircase leads to the upper loft-style floor, which offers a second bedroom with two single beds. Cottage Area: 50 sq m.
Rodia Cottage with Shared Pool:
Rodia, a two-storey Cottage, is the most spacious accommodation at Villa Athermigoand may accommodate up to four people. It has a king size bed and a bathroom, with both a tub and a shower on the ground floor. An internal staircase leads to the upper loft-style floor, which offers a second bedroom with a king-size bed, that may be dressed with separate linen, and a bathroom with shower. Cottage Area: 80 sq m.
Villa Athermigo (Exclusive use):
Villa Athermigo, whose name derives from the unique olive oil, used to be a traditional oil press, bursting with the gifts of this sacred, eternal tree. The property can be rented in its entirety and comprises three independent deluxe cottages, named after the trees that grace their entrances. The Elia (Olive tree), Rodia (Pomegranate tree) and Karydia (Walnut tree) suites can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests in total and all exhibit the same refreshing style and attention to detail.
