The trade fair is just a two minute train ride from the nearby central station, and the streets around the hotel are replete with fascinating cafés, restaurants for all tastes and budgets, and of course Cologne's world famous shopping.

Stern am Rathaus has just eight cosy rooms, including a large Junior Suite arranged on two floors. All rooms are air-conditioned, and equipped with all modern amenities. An extensive continental breakfast buffet, featuring regional produce and freshly baked home-made bread, is served every morning in the café, and tea, coffee and drinks are available until the early evening.

Standard Rooms:
The standard rooms (single or double) are equipped with large, comfortable king or queen-size beds (twin beds available on request), plenty of storage space, a personal writing desk and air-conditioning. Some double rooms also have a seating area with a sofa, which can be converted into an extra bed. These rooms are perfect for three guests or small families. Bathrooms are equipped to a high standard, and feature modern touches such as showers with extra large shower-heads and a hair-dryer. Room size 12 to 15 sq m.
Junior Suite:
The Junior Suite is arranged on two floors and features a king-size bed with comfortable and extra large duvets and down pillows with Egyptian cotton sheets and linens. In addition to the standard room facilities there are also coffee/tea making facilities, as well as plenty of storage space. The room has a wonderful cathedral view, especially from the seating area on the upstairs attic gallery. The Junior Suite also features a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. The Junior Suite can accommodate up to four guests.

All rooms feature: air-conditioning; flat-screen TV; a writing desk with telephone (direct dialling to rooms and wake up calls possible); in-room safe; free wireless internet access; refrigerator; bathroom with shower and hair-dryer; kettle and coffee/tea making facilities, iron and ironing board (on request).
