Originally built in 1774, this magnificent property has been owned by the same family for eight generations, and now offers exquisite accommodation, fine dining and fabulous outdoor activities in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Set in the heart of County Sligo, Coopershill House is a delightful venue for relaxing visits to this beautiful corner of Ireland. While only two hours drive from Dublin, it enjoys a magical setting, boasting fabulous grounds, an all weather tennis court, a croquet lawn, and trout fishing on the River Arrow. Within a short drive, visitors can find spectacular beaches, megalithic tombs and the spectacular lakes and mountains of Yeats country, among many other fabulous attractions. The Dining Room at Coopershill House is the setting for hearty breakfasts and delicious gourmet dinners, based on high quality country house cooking and the freshest, locally sourced produce, much of it from the estate's farm and vegetable and fruit gardens. Specialities include river trout and venison, and menus change by the day to reflect the seasons. The dining room has a unique atmosphere, with elegant antique furniture, ancestral portraits on the walls and Irish crystal and family silver on the table, along with high ceilings and sash windows with fine estate views. Type of rooms: Coopershill HouseSchool Room:The School Room on the second floor has a modern king-size bed that can easily be converted to a twin-bedded room. As a corner room of the Country House Hotel, it has fantastic views both down to the river and over the Stable yard. Pink Room: The Pink Room is located on the first floor of this small Country House Hotel in County Sligo, Ireland. It has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, an open plan kitchen, dining area, sitting room & downstairs toilet. It is the ideal location for a self catering holiday home in Sligo.
