Originally built in 1774, this magnificent property has been owned by the same family for eight generations, and now offers exquisite accommodation, fine dining and fabulous outdoor activities in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Set in the heart of County Sligo, Coopershill House is a delightful venue for relaxing visits to this beautiful corner of Ireland. While only two hours drive from Dublin, it enjoys a magical setting, boasting fabulous grounds, an all weather tennis court, a croquet lawn, and trout fishing on the River Arrow. Within a short drive, visitors can find spectacular beaches, megalithic tombs and the spectacular lakes and mountains of Yeats country, among many other fabulous attractions.

The Dining Room at Coopershill House is the setting for hearty breakfasts and delicious gourmet dinners, based on high quality country house cooking and the freshest, locally sourced produce, much of it from the estate's farm and vegetable and fruit gardens. Specialities include river trout and venison, and menus change by the day to reflect the seasons. The dining room has a unique atmosphere, with elegant antique furniture, ancestral portraits on the walls and Irish crystal and family silver on the table, along with high ceilings and sash windows with fine estate views.

School Room:
The School Room on the second floor has a modern king-size bed that can easily be converted to a twin-bedded room. As a corner room of the Country House Hotel, it has fantastic views both down to the river and over the Stable yard. Pink Room:
The Pink Room is located on the first floor of this small Country House Hotel in County Sligo, Ireland. This bright and airy room has a magnificent king-size canopy bed and an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower but no bathtub. Georgian Room:
Located on the first floor, there is a king-size canopy bed (6 foot/180 cm. wide) and its own en-suite private bathroom with tub and walk-in shower. The windows are south facing and overlook the River Unshin with a backdrop of Keashcorran mountain and the Co. Sligo countryside. Blue Room:
Located on the first floor, accommodation is offered in this spacious room with a wonderful king-size canopied double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Its location on the corner of the house grants it views to the west and north and wonderful afternoon sunshine. Yellow Room:
The Yellow Room, on the first floor, has a beautiful queen-size canopy bed with both east and south facing windows granting views down to the river. In the light and airy en-suite bathroom is a wonderful original Victorian roll top bath with brass fittings and an enormous shower head. Venetian Room:
The Venetian Room, on the first floor, is the original Master bedroom and the largest in the house. It has two amazing, original four poster queen-sized beds with views over the lawns at the front of the house and an en-suite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi.
The Coach House:
Right beside the "Big House'' at Coopershill is the Coach House. This building once housed the family coaches whilst the Coachman and his family lived upstairs. Today the Coach House house has been sensitively converted to provide a charming, traditional, self catering holiday home in Sligo, Ireland. It has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, an open plan kitchen, dining area, sitting room & downstairs toilet. It is the ideal location for a self catering holiday home in Sligo.

All rooms feature original antique furniture, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, large duvets, firm matresses and electric blankets switched on during the evening turndown for the coziest beds in Ireland.
