Petite, cosy, but perfectly formed, each Cosy Room has its own character, calming decor and beautiful bed linen. These cosy first floor hideaways provide ideal Lake District accommodation for individuals or couples who are seeking a peaceful haven from their working life. Several of our rooms overlook the hotel courtyard, while one has views across the trees and gardens alongside Linthwaite. One double bed. Room size 18 sq m.
Cosy King Bedrooms:
The Cosy King bedrooms offer a sophisticated feel and individual character with views of the picturesque woodland, gardens or courtyard. Each room has its own unique character but all are en-suite, with king-size double beds. There is one specially designed ground floor room which has an outdoor seating area for bright spring mornings and one with its own balcony looking out towards the fields. For guests travelling with the family dog, Linthwaite House Hotel can provide a ground floor superior room with easy external access to the fourteen acres of private woodland grounds and tarn. View Bedrooms:
The ideal choice for a truly indulgent Lake District break, the View bedrooms allow visitors to relax and unwind in comfort while taking in the breathtaking views over Lake Windermere or the beautiful Lake District landscape. The Junior Suite:
A luxury home in the Lake District, the Junior Suite is perfect for families or couples on Lake District breaks. The Junior Suite, also known as the Garden Suite, overlooks the croquet and putting lawn. It is on the first floor of the old part of the house, originally built in 1901. It has of course been thoroughly modernised, and has a separate seating area as well as a king-size bed. Guests can relax on the sofa and look out across the views of the picturesque croquet lawn and woodland. This suite is also ideal for families travelling with children, as there is the option of a fold-out double bed within the sitting area.

Loft Suite:
A light and airy loft space, a private luxury eyrie in the Lake District. The 56 sq m air-conditioned Loft Suite includes a king-size bed, lounge and dining area, and an impressive en-suite bathroom with double designer bath and walk-in shower. On clear nights, couples can gaze at the stars together through a telescope, positioned under a specially-designed skylight window that can retract completely.
This is a suite for Lake District visitors seeking private time away together.
