Recently having undergone a thorough renovation, this charming property is set in a lovingly restored historic inn, originally dating from the 18th century. Built in a traditional Alpine style, the hotel's cosy décor features delightful oak wood flooring and pine wall linings, warm Loden fabrics and custom-designed furniture.

Ideal for outdoor holidays in both winter and summer, the Plose ski runs are within easy reach of the property, while the charming Tyrol town of Bressanone, with its famous cathedral and pharmacy museum, is just three kilometres away.

Zum Alten Moar also has a fine restaurant specialising in traditional regional cuisine and delicious pizzas baked in an authentic wood stove, all using the finest local ingredients and herbs from the hotel's garden. Zum Alten Moar's splendid buffet breakfast is served in the cosy dining room, and the hotel has a number of lounge and dining areas for all occasions. Guests may also enjoy the beer garden for snacks and drinks, and there is a children's play area.

The thirteen guest rooms at Zum Alten Moar have all been restored and decorated with great attention to detail, and feature locally sourced, ecologically friendly materials. The pine wood comes from nearby alpine forests, and the walls are finished in natural lime, while fabrics are in genuine country Loden. Natural pine has a natural anti-bacterial effect, and also offers a number of important health benefits, including the prevention of sleep disorders, reduction of the heart-rate, and the stimulation of the metabolism.

Standard Double Room:
These spacious rooms feature exposed-beam ceilings and hand-planed oak flooring. Room size 25 sq m.
Comfort Double Room:
These large, light filled rooms have a seating area and great views. Some rooms also have a balcony. Room size 30 sq m.
Deluxe Double Room:
These spacious rooms have pine clad walls, exposed-beam ceilings and oak floors. Some rooms have balconies. Fine views of the valley, the monastery and the village. Room size 35 sq m.
Suite:
The luxurious Eagle Suite consists of two rooms with hand-made furniture in local pine and hand-planed oak flooring. The entire bathroom is clad in local stone. The suite also features a corner hydro-massage bath in the main bedroom. This spectacular suite has an eye-catching gable balcony from reclaimed 17th century timber. Room size 60 sq m.
