Description: The Pucic PalaceThe Pucic Palace is a fabulous boutique hotel found in the centre of Dubrovnik's old walled town, now a World Heritage Site. Gundulic Square has a daily fruit and vegetable market and is a great place to observe and enjoy the local colour.The Pucic Palace hotel itself is found in a 17th Century noble house and has been entirely renovated to preserve its original history and character, while ensuring guests benefit from all the modern conveniences appropriate to a luxury hotel. The Pucic Palace is a beautiful historic hotel from which to explore the wonders of Croatia's stunning coastline. Type of rooms: The Pucic PalaceThe Pucic Palace has 19 deluxe and executive rooms and suites. Most rooms have beautiful high ceilings with exposed wooden beams, large double windows, lovely dark oak parquet floors, hand-woven rugs, brocade curtains, antique furniture and luxury furnishings. The timeless designs perfectly compliment the 18th Century architecture.The top floor suite has windows both in the roof and high up on the walls. The shower is set beside an oversized bathtub. All rooms are soundproofed and include satellite TV, DVD player, CD and DVD library, telephone, air conditioning, minibar, safe, Bvlgari oils and amenities, cotton robes and slippers. There is also a personal linen menu available.The bathrooms are spacious with Royal Porcelain-lined copper baths and basins, and Romanesque Italian mosaic tiles. It has al fresco seating on Gundulic Square and warm interiors, with the heraldic shields of noble families painted on the ceilings. The Defne is located on The Pucic Palace's open-air terrace. The ambiance is intimate, romantic, while the menu offers excellent contemporary cuisine with a strong Eastern Mediterranean influence. Dubrovnik has long had a reputation as a city for ambassadors, artists and travellers and the Razonoda wine bar has become one of their favoured social venues. It offers guests international wines, tobaccos, cigars and traditional Croatian delicacies. Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable.
