Standing in the heart of the historic port area of El Jadida, L'Iglesia is situated in a magnificent 19th century Spanish church. After a painstaking conversion and renovation, this charming property was opened as a small boutique hotel, and now offers luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and friendly, welcoming service in a unique heritage setting.

Ideally placed for visiting this fascinating city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, L'Iglesia is just footsteps from the waterfront, and a short walk from the main beaches and many of the most important sights in the old walled town, including the Portuguese city, the Porte de la Mer, the cistern, or the church of the Assumption. L'Iglesia organises cultural visits to the souk and the surrounding areas, and also offers special rates at the El Jadida's two golf courses. Other options for outdoor activities include horse riding on the beach, surf lessons and quad rides.

L'Iglesia's main restaurant, located by the ramparts in the former consulate building, offers a variety of dishes from the full spectrum of North African cuisine. It opens for lunch and dinner, and features freshly caught fish and seafood and seasonal fruit, and has a charming open-air terrace with palms and olive trees. Just 300 metres from the main building, the Café do Mar is a delightful spot for drinks and dining throughout the day, with magnificent views of the ocean and the ramparts from its two terraces.

Superior/Twin:
Three twin rooms and ​a ​superior room located in the former church. These rooms have an en-suite bathroom, and come with a desk and free Wi-Fi access. Two single beds or one large double bed. Extra beds are not available in these rooms. Room size 25 to 30 sq m.
Superior Luxe:
Seven luxury superior rooms each with a different view, of the ocean, the remparts or the old Portuguese city. These very spacious rooms feature a desk and free Wi-Fi access, and come complete with an en-suite bathroom.
Room size 35 sq m.
Suite Luxe:
Two luxury suites (one in the former church and one in the capitainerie), very large and bright. They feature a seating area and many windows allowing plenty of light. The large bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath. The suite in the capitainerie can accommodate a family with two children. One large double bed. Suite size 50 sq m.

Beds: They can add one single bed in a double bedroom and suite. The hotel has 3 twin beds.
