Located in the heart of the Corrientes region, near Esquina, Estancia Don Joaquín is part of a traditional working cattle ranch. Surrounded by the rich wetlands of this fascinating region, and standing in beautiful native gardens, Estancia Don Joaquín opened its doors to guests in 2007, and provides cosy, spacious accommodation, great food and a fantastic range of outdoor activities in a secluded natural setting.

Estancia Don Joaquín offers guests a genuine ranch experience, along with tailor-made activities that change according to the seasons. All inclusive activities include ranch and gaucho experiences, horse riding and bird-watching, while guests can also choose optional activities such as fly-fishing, wild-life safaris, polo lessons or horse riding treks. The estancia also offers a range of spa treatments, and there is a large outdoor pool for cooling dips after a busy day's experiences.

As befits an establishment so deeply rooted in the natural environment, cuisine at Estancia Don Joaquín is home-made, natural, hearty and above all delicious. Based on local recipes and regional culinary traditions, all meals are created with fresh, locally sourced produce, much from the ranch itself, and guests can also enjoy an open kitchen experience. Traditional ''asados'' are of course a speciality, and the estancia also boasts an excellent wine cellar with a carefully chosen selection of fine Argentinian wines.
