Strategically situated between the two entrances to Fez's historic Medina, Bab Guissa and Ain Azlitan, Dar Roumana is ideally placed for visiting this fascinating city. Dar Roumana's staff can arrange transfers and porterage to the hotel, and concierge services include organising day trips in and around Fez, specialist Medina experiences, excursions to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknes, and much, much more. Dar Roumana has just five individually decorated suites, all featuring the work of local artisans, including original mosaic tile floors, intricate carved plaster, rich cedar ceilings and doors, and hand-crafted furnishings.

Fast gaining a reputation as one of the top dining venues in Fez, Dar Roumana's restaurant serves delicious daily changing menus created by its French chef, combining Mediterranean style cuisine with Moroccan influences. Meals can be enjoyed in the central courtyard, or on the rooftop terrace, with fabulous views of the Medina and the rest of the city. Breakfast at Dar Roumana consists of a selection of home baked breads and pastries, along with coffee and tea, freshly squeezed juices, fruit salad, home-made preserves, yoghurt and eggs to order.

Argana Suite:
This is the cosiest and most private suite, as it does not look onto the courtyard, but instead has a window outside with a tree-top view of the Medina. It has a double bed  (140x190cm), small seating area, separate dressing room and bathroom with shower. Air conditioned. The suite is on the top floor, accessed by three flights of stairs, and we cannot add extra beds to this room. Ceiling height in bathroom is 6ft (180 cm).
Qarmousa Suite:
This suite has a queen-size bed (160x200cm) and a single bed in a small mezzanine room.  Perfect for three friends or a family travelling with a child. The suite is located on the ground floor, opening onto the central courtyard. The bathroom features a lovely traditional shower. There is no air-conditioning, but fans are provided in the summer, and heating in the winter.
Roumana Suite:
This is a spacious suite with queen-size bed (160cm x 200cm) and a comfortable seating area.  Located on the ground floor, the suite opens onto the central courtyard.  The large bathroom features a shower stall and separate claw-foot bathtub. There is no air-conditioning, but fans are provided in summer months and heating in winter months.
Tamarind Suite:
A spacious suite with a queen-size bed (160cm x 200cm) and a comfortable seating area located on the first floor, with windows overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom features a combined shower and spacious bathtub. Air-conditioned.
Yasmina Suite:
The largest and most ornate suite in the 'riad' with a private balcony overlooking the medina. A queen-size four-poster bed  (160cm x 200cm) graces the centre of the room, which features mosaic tiled walls and a delicately carved plaster ceiling. This suite is on the first floor with windows overlooking the central courtyard and the medina. The en-suite bathroom has a combined bathtub and shower. Air-conditioned.
