Originally built in the late 18th century as residential and administrative buildings for the castle, it was for many years used as the village school. After some years of neglect, it was purchased in 2007 by its present owners, and after a painstaking restoration and renovation, offers delightful boutique accommodation and country-style cuisine in an idyllic lakeside setting.

Ideal for tranquil visits to this beautiful corner of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Kavaliershaus Suitehotel Am Finckener See is perfect for couples, families or groups of friends. On site activities for all ages include cycling on the hotel's bicycles, hiking, swimming, sunbathing on the dock, boating, table tennis, and badminton. Just for children, there is a sandpit, climbing trees and a children's playhouse. Some have sleeping lofts and living areas with kitchen facilities, and all suites have an en-suite bathroom. The former classroom is now the venue for the restaurant, and there is also a newly renovated barn for conferences and events, and a small spa area with sauna and sauna garden.

This fabulous suite is located on the upper floor of the hotel and features an immense open-plan layout with massive exposed beams and light, airy decor. The living/sleeping area comes with a kitchenette, a large double bed and a free-standing roll-top bathtub. There is also a private bathroom with a shower and WC.
