After a number of changes of use and ownership, the property was purchased in 2011 by Andrew and Christina Brownsword, and was reopened in 2012 as the The Slaughters Country Inn. This charming property now offers cosy accommodation, great food and amenities in a traditional country inn atmosphere.The Slaughters Country Inn is ideally placed for exploring the Slaughters and the Cotswolds. A short drive from Cheltenham, many more of the region's landmarks and attractions are within easy reach of the inn - Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Blenheim Palace, Hidcote gardenns, to mention but a few. Hotel staff can offer advice on local walks, sightseeing tours, and much more. Dining at The Slaughters Country Inn is an informal, relaxing affair, and the restaurant has long been a favourite with hotel guests and local residents alike. Head chef Chris Fryer creates simple, hearty and flavoursome menus based on the finest seasonal, locally sourced produce, with meals available all day - breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Deluxe Rooms: Holland, Angelos, Hawtrey, Walpole The Deluxe Rooms are impossible to resist, offering all the features of the Classic Rooms as well as that little bit extra. They are more spacious and some feature luxurious roll-top baths, perfect for that little bit of 'you' time, or guests may have a room that will simply let them enjoy the stunning surrounding views of the beautiful grounds. One double bed. Room size approximately 18 sq m. Superior Rooms: Cotton Hall, Westbury, Mustians, Jourdelays, Waynflete, Godolphin, South Lawn, Common Lane. The Superior rooms are very stylish rooms, providing a light and airy feeling. Some rooms even provide views across the lush gardens. The exquisite bathrooms are generously proportioned and boast aspects of the Cotswolds. One queen-size bed. Room size 25 sq m. Cottages: Caccia, Amisfield, Lockyer, Lonsdale, Allestree, Aldrich. The six Cottages are situated in the courtyard, just a few steps away from the main house. These stylish cottages are divided into two levels. The upper floors boast cosy master bedrooms while the lower floors offer most comfortable living areas, complete with sofa beds. All the Cottages have traditional wooden beams, large skylights and elegant bathrooms. The cottages are ideal for families or guests who want to enjoy a little more space. Junior Suites: Hopgarden, Timbralls. The Junior suites are spacious, unique and designed with individual character and stylish furniture.
