Located in the heart of the historic town of Siolim, this fabulous property is set in a beautiful heritage mansion, once the property of the Governor of Macau. Originally built in 1675, Siolim House has been painstakingly restored by its present owner, and now offers heritage boutique accommodation in an informal, intimate atmosphere.

More of a private house than a hotel, Siolim House takes pride in its friendly atmosphere and homely accoutrements. Nevertheless, luxurious comforts are not missing in this unique property, and rooms feature magnificent antique furniture, noble timber and antique Portuguese tiled flooring, ceiling fans and cool, crisp fabrics. Siolim House also boasts a large courtyard swimming pool. In keeping with the historic character of the building, superior suites are not air-conditioned - the building's thick walls, high ceilings and heritage floorings mean that air-conditioning is unnecessary.

Siolim House offers guests delicious traditional, home cooked Goan cuisine, based on a mix of Indian spices and Portuguese influences. A finalist for the UNESCO Heritage prize, the house is close to many of Siolim's most important landmarks, including the church of St. Anthony of Padua, just a few steps away from the house, across the road. With many more chapels and temples, the town is also close to some beautiful beaches, the nearest being at Chapora.

Damao - Standard Suite:
This is a twin bedded room (it can be converted to a double bed), looking onto the courtyard on the ground floor, very quiet, air-conditioned. Large bathroom, shower.
Cambay - Standard Suite:
This is a standard Room set around the courtyard, and comes with a four-poster bed and antique furniture, a large marble floored bathroom with a shower, air-conditioning, in-room amenities and safe.
Surat - Standard Suite:
This is a standard Room set around courtyard, and comes with a four-poster bed and antique furniture, unique terracotta tiled bathroom with shower, air-conditioning, in-room amenities and safe.
Bahia - Standard Suite:
This twin bedded suite - beds can be joined - is located in the front portion of the house, faces the front, with windows to the side garden. Large en-suite bathroom with shower. Antique furniture.
Macassar - Superior Suite:
Very romantic, large room, wooden floors, on the first floor of the main house - huge proportions, epic bathroom. Ideal for lovers.
Malabar - Superior Suite:
The Malabar Suite is a 2-bedroom suite (both double beds) with large rooms and an attached bathroom with shower. It is located in the front of the house. Four-poster beds - perfect for a family.
Macao - Superior Suite:
The largest suite in the main house is located on the top floor, and has a separate sitting area and a huge bathroom with shower. Featuring wooden flooring, it comes with a four-poster bed.
