Dining: exclusive for guests and must be booked in advance. They offer a daily set meal, which is fully prepared in the kitchen using fresh seasonal products from the province or neighboring areas such as: beans, artichokes, and different vegetables; fruit from tropical coast: avocado, mango, cherimoya, and let's not forget about the meat and sausage from the mountain, and the fish from the Motril coast. Diner must be booked in advance for 35 Euros per person, drinks not included and VAT not included. They have vegetarian meals and special meals for children.

Pool: The strategic location of the swimming pool allows the guest to relax while enjoying the landscape. Watch the stars from a terrace on a summer or spring night.

Green Policy: La Almunia del Valle, is committed to the environment so they left the largest area possible for gardens. The hotel is trying to avoid soft and short grass as this requires a lot of water, weeding, fertilizer and herbicides which pollute the soil and water. As an alternative there are native plants such as Spanish grass, strawberry tree, broom, jasmine, vines, ivy, myrtle and other aromatic plants; rosemary, sage, lavender, mint, thyme, etc., which are resistant to disease and require less water. Whenever possible the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides is avoided.

Grounds: The property (with a total of 13,000 m2) is located in the Sierra Nevada Natural Park and includes cultivated areas (olive trees, almond trees, and fruit trees), and a wild area (holm oaks, esparto grass, and herbs) that covers the hill where the building rises and protects it from the light coming from the urban centers.

Activities & Excursions: The spot called Los Cahorros has been remodeled in recent years: the suspension bridge was reformed to make it safer, three others were constructed and new tracks with stepped stretches were added. The area is very fashionable amongst rock climbers, who have marked out numerous upward routes in the steep rock faces of the River Monachil Gorge, where it is common to see them perform acrobatic feats.

Hiking Route: From the Portachuelos plots, crossing Los Cahorros until reaching the spot called Las Azuelas, returning along the area of the Cortijo del Cerrillo. Duration: On average it takes about two hours to cover the 5 kilometers that makes up the route. Environmental Value: The trip runs through the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, right on the border of the National Park. Points of Interest: One of the most typical features of this route is the suspension bridge of Los Cahorros, 63 meters in length, and a cave known as the Túnel de las Palomas (Tunnel of Pigeons).

Horseback Riding: Try a horseback riding lesson through the Park of Sierra Nevada. For any booking, please contact reception. During the tour you can enjoy the magnificent surroundings offered by the Sierra Nevada National Park. At only 5 minutes drive away or 20 minutes by walking.

Bicycle Hire: The Hotel has bicycles available to its customers. In addition they collaborate with a local company specializing in cycling in high mountains, offering a first class service to clients who want to mountain bike to unique places in the Sierra Nevada National Park.
