Petite Anse Hotel is located on the well-preserved north coast of the 'Spice Isle' and is a perfect retreat for independent travelers or couples who want to get away from the bustling city of St Georges for a long weekend or even a one night retreat to the country. Comfort and relaxation are the main ingredients at Petite Anse Hotel.Each of the 11 rooms has a spectacular view over the stunningly beautiful wild beach and beyond to the Grenadines. Every room is literally within a coconut's throw of the beach and has its own deck or terrace. Petite Anse Hotel was created to leave a minimal carbon footprint with special ecological measures. Petite Anse Hotel recycles water where possible and gets fresh produce for it's restaurant from the fruit and vegetable gardens at the Old Plantation House where the owners live or from known local producers. Open to both residents and non-residents, the restaurant features an imaginative menu using seasonal and local produce. Chalet style and Deluxe bedrooms each with their own deck or terrace and special ocean view.All rooms feature a hand carved queen size four poster bed, ceiling fan, tea & coffee making facilities, mini fridge, hairdryer, safe deposit box, air conditioning unit with remote control, en-suite shower room, handmade and painted porcelain sink basin, bathroom, pool and beach towels, and Internet connection. The two Deluxe Rooms feature all of the above but the bed is king size, the terrace and shower room are more spacious and there are two sinks. Additional information: Petite Anse HotelDining: Petite Anse Bar and Restaurant is open to non residents from 10am till late. There is an all day snack menu, and an espresso machine with a wide selection of coffee options. The Restaurant has a casual feel during the day and offers a separate lunch menu that changes daily with a variety of dishes including succulent steaks, delicious salads, fresh fish and chicken dishes. The ambiance is more elegant for dinner with a Fine dining menu of the best European inspired cuisine using the freshest of local produce complemented by excellent wine selection. Dress code for the evening is elegant yet casual and reservations should be made in advance. Special Events: Imagine getting married on a beach with the turquoise waters behind you stretching all the way to the Grenadines. Photos with palm trees and distant isles. The reception in a gourmet restaurant overlooking the stunning wild beach at Petite Anse. To get married in Grenada, both parties need to be on the island for 3 days prior and documents are required in English. The area: The North of Grenada is one of the best kept secrets of the Caribbean. Off the beaten track and relatively undiscovered, it is a step back in time. A big bonus is that with the constant on shore breeze, it is virtually mosquito free all year. Grenada with its lush mountains, beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters, offers a wide variety of tours and sightseeing. Sailing in the Grenadines or Whale & Dolphin Watching, Deep Sea Fishing, Kayaking, Jeep Adventure Tours, Hiking in the Rain Forest, guided Island Tours and trips around the Island, or to the Neighbour Islands. Places to see include Grand Etang Lake and National Park, Levera National Park, Lake Antoine National Park, La Sagesse mangrove estuary, Belmont Estate - Working Plantation Estate, and waterfalls such as Anadale Falls, Concord Falls, Marquis Falls, Seven Sisters Falls. Getting around: Car rental is highly recommended and can be organized by the hotel. Scooters are usually more economical than rental cars, though road conditions can also make them more hazardous. You can travel between the islands by a convenient ferry which makes daily trips. Another great way of seeing the sister islands, and perhaps beyond, is by chartering a yacht with crew. Getting there: Driving from the Western side (Gouyave & Victoria): At the T junction in Sauteurs, turn left and follow the signs. Driving from the Eastern side (Grenville): Drive straight through Sauteurs and follow signs as you exit Sauteurs. Petite Anse Hotel is 1 mile west of Sauteurs, along the coast road, past the playing field. Airport pickup & drop off: free for all stays of 7 nights or more. DEPOSIT: 50% charged upon booking.
