Steeped in history, Gundershoffen is close to the Northern Vosges Natural Park, and is less than three-quarters of an hour by car from Strasbourg. The German frontier, Baden-Baden and the Black Forest are also within easy reach. Guests can enjoy fishing, horse-riding and mountain biking from the property, and there are several excellent golf courses within half an hour's drive of the hotel.

Hotel le Moulin is home to a fine restaurant, the recently inaugurated Les Jardins du Moulin. Situated in the gardens, surrounded by weeping willows and well tended lawns, the restaurant offers delicious, inventive interpretations of traditional Alsace cuisine, with the accent on the finest locally produced seasonal ingredients.
