After an eventful history before and after the second world war, it was acquired by its present owners in 1997 and painstakingly restored to its former glory. This charming property now offers luxurious boutique-style accommodation and fine international cuisine in a fabulous rural location.

Ideally placed for relaxing visits to the Zwickau district of the Free State of Saxony, Gästehaus Wolfsbrunn is located by a meander of the river Zwickauer Mulde, and is close to the charming little town of Hartenstein, with its dramatic castle. Zwickau is just over fifteen kilometres from the hotel. Outdoor activities available in the region include hiking and cycling in the Ore mountains, canoeing on the river, or tennis on the castle's court.

The Wolfsbrunn Restaurant, located in the sun-drenched pavilion, with its beautiful art-nouveau decorative elements, must be one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the region, and serves daily changing menus featuring modern recipes marked by international influences and based on the finest locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. The Amber Room is a Scottish Highland themed bar and lounge, where guests can enjoy a fine range of draught beers, wines, snacks and cocktails in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

Single Room:
The house has two single rooms on two floors. Both rooms are equippped with full standard amenities. Room size 15 to 25 sq m.
Double Room:
The castle offers 19 standard two-bed deluxe rooms. Guests can choose between a double bed, a queen-size bed or twin beds. Two of the double rooms feature a balcony overlooking the spacious park.
Room size 20 to 55 sq m.
Suite:
The Presidential Suite and the Bridal Suite offer excellent comfort with unique castle flair. Both suites have a built-in Jacuzzi in the bathroom and are equipped with a spacious balcony or a delightful rooftop terrace with views of the surrounding countryside. Suite size 50 to 60 sq m.

All rooms are equipped with all standard amenities and are serviced by a lift on two floors. The standard equipment includes the following features: en-suite bathroom with shower or bath and WC, hair-dryer; flat-screen TV, complimentary internet; mini-bar and safe.
