This charming property is set in a painstakingly restored and modernised early twentieth century convent, originally built in 1909 in Coonamble, six-hundred kilometres from its present location. In 1990, Peppers Convent was transported to the Hunter Valley, and now provides luxurious boutique accommodation and a range of bespoke services in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley vineyards, and surrounded by beautiful gardens, Peppers Convent is the ideal spot for romantic getaways, corporate events or simply peaceful, relaxing breaks in this magnificent region. Perfect for active holidays, guests can choose from an immense range of outdoor activities, including golf, bushwalks, horse-riding and even hot air ballooning. The Convent is surrounded by vineyards and wineries of all kinds, from small boutique establishments to some of Australia's largest producers. Peppers Convent can organise unique wine tour experiences, private tastings, or tickets for the fabulous cultural events that take place in many of the vineyards.

With just seventeen rooms and suites, comfortable, intimate stays are guaranteed at Peppers Convent. Many of the typical structural and decorative elements of the original building, including the pressed metal interiors, have been combined with fresh, light paintwork, crisp black and white touches and large windows to capitalise on the breezy views of the well tended vineyards and the spectacular mountains beyond.

Deluxe Rooms:
The Deluxe Rooms feature queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with a deep soaking bathtub. French doors open onto deep verandahs with stunning views over the Estate - a perfect place to watch the sunset and sample the Hunter's fine wines.
Superior Rooms:
Our Superior Rooms feature king size beds (which can split into twin beds), a private lounge area, and bathrooms containing a deep soaking bath. French doors open onto large verandahs with stunning views over the Estate.
Premier Rooms:
Each of the Premier suites are decadently over-sized, and completely individually decorated. These spectacular suites feature a large balcony or veranda, luxurious en-suite bathrooms with deep soaking bath, bathrobes and slippers in every room and luxurious Molton Brown grooming products. In these suites guests can expect every beautiful touch to make their stay a totally luxurious experience.
