After a recent renovation and rebuild, this magnificent historic property now offers luxurious accommodation and award-winning cuisine in a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere.

Surrounded on all sides by the well-tended vineyards of the Rhineland-Palatinate, Weinhaus Henninger is perfect for visiting this beautiful region, which boasts one of the highest sunshine rates in Germany. With rolling hills, lovely vineyard landscapes, and picturesque villages, the region is a hiker's and cyclist's paradise, with the Palatinate Forest being of special natural interest. Many of the region's most important wineries are located in Kallstadt, beside some of the finest up-and-coming young growers and producers in Germany.

As befits a historic property in a region famous for its fabulous cuisine, Weinhaus Henninger continues the gastronomic tradition started by one of the house's most famous landladies, Louise Henninger. Today chef Tommy Walter continues with her recipes, along with refined regional and seasonal cuisine, carefully prepared from the finest local produce. Meals can be enjoyed in a number of venues, including the Henninger Hofgarten, the Barrel Vault, the Fireplace Room and the Wine Studio. There is also a separate, modern wine bar, where guests can savour the region's magnificent wines, artisan beers along with a fine selection of spirits.
