Cicada Lodge is a new-build architect designed property, enjoying a fantastic location by the banks of the Katherine River in the Nitmiluk National Park. This boutique lodge provides luxurious accommodation and a range of fabulous activities in a unique natural setting.

The perfect spot for exploring this spectacular region of Australia's "Top End" - the Northern Territories - Cicada Lodge offers a wide range of spectacular activities and tours, always in collaboration with the indigenous owners of the region, the Jawoyn people. Guests at the Cicada Lodge can enjoy spectacular natural experiences in the heart of this timeless region, including cruises through the spectacular Nitmiluk Gorges, Jawoyn Rock Art Tours, and Adventure Swim Tours - a unique helicopter flight to a secluded, pristine swimming hole. According to the season, canoeing, bushwalking and trekking, and wildlife tours are also available. Another part of the Cicada Lodge experience is the cuisine, where guests are invited to taste and enjoy native Australian foods, in a unique dining sensation that combines traditional elements and the finest fresh local produce in an a delicious, contemporary menu.

Cicada lodge has just eighteen air-conditioned rooms, all featuring full-length louvred doors opening onto private balconies, offering fabulous views across the unique landscapes bordering the gorge and the river. Each room is decorated with unique indigenous artwork from local artists, creating a fascinating contrast with the modern design and furnishings of the rooms.

These double rooms feature a mini-bar, a seating area and an iPod docking station. One king-size bed. Room size 42 sq m.
