Kahanda Kanda offers private shuttle services in either a fully air-conditioned van, SUV or the resort's own traditional tuk-tuk (three wheeler) to and from the airport, the beaches, and all other points of interest. Popular outdoor activities in the area include whale wathching, mountain biking, surfing and scuba diving, among many other options. Kahanda Kanda organises traditional cookery classes and visits to the nearby Handunugoda Tea Estate.

Sharing its verandah with the Garden Suite, this suite has a pair of antique Colonial style single size four-poster beds which can be converted into a king-size double bed. Garden Suite:
Not for the minimalist, this suite has a beautiful painted English 18th Century style king-size four-poster Bed, along with a selection of oil paintings and antiques. The high ceilings ensure the room remains cool all year round, and there is a wide verandah with views of the garden for relaxing and/or eating - shared with the Tea Suite. The bathroom has double basins and an outdoor shower. Maximum occupancy 3 guests. One king-size bed. Suite size approximately 80 sq m.
Araliya Suite:
Like the Tamarind and Mango Suites, this suite also has a wide verandah overlooking the tea estate, providing the perfect viewing spot of the local wildlife. There are double showers in the bathroom, and an elegant king-size teak four-poster Bed, and the suite is finished off with a mixture of Asian antiquities. Suite size 80 sq m.
Nelum Suite:
Accessed by a flight of steps from beside the Living Pavilion, this suite has sensational views looking towards Koggala Lake. Decorated in cool green and white tones, there is a king-size four-poster wrought iron bed, double showers and a wide verandah. In addition, there are 2 Sun Loungers in the private garden. Mango Suite:
Like the Tamarind Suite, this is a bird watcher's paradise, with its wide verandah as a vantage point. This bedroom has a king-size four-poster bed made from teak, and also has double showers and double hand basins. Maximum occupancy 3 guests. One king-size bed. Suite size 80 sq m.
Tamarind Suite:
Filled with blue and white antique porcelain, this suite has a king-size wrought iron four-poster bed and a large verandah overlooking the Tea Estate. This is ideal for watching some of the fascinating and varied wildlife. The bathroom has twin showers. Maximum occupancy 3 guests. One king-size bed.

Peacock Suite:
This expansive suite has two bathrooms with outdoor showers, and boasts some of the most sensational views over the tea estate and Koggala lake. To add to this sense of indulgence, there is a courtyard garden where guests can enjoy meals in private. Maximum occupancy 3 guests. One king-size bed.

Hellaconia Suite:
Situated a little way from the main part of the hotel, the Hellaconia Suite is approached via an old Jaffna door set into a wall. The suite is in a most luxuriant garden setting and offers total privacy. There is a king-size four-poster Bed, and the bathroom has double outdoor showers - for the ultimate shower under the stars. Maximum occupancy 3 guests. One king-size bed. Suite size 100 sq m.
Dubu Suite:
This unique antique Joglo House, imported from Java, has an incredibly elaborately carved wooden ceiling and woven palm walls interspersed with numerous louvred doors for a truly open feeling. There is an infinity edged curved swimming pool for guests' exclusive use, and stunning views overlooking Koggala Lake. There are two Large Outdoor Bathrooms with Showers - please note they are not attached to the suite, but accessed down a short flight of steps. In addition, there is an en-suite cloakroom with handbasin and WC, in addition to the two outdoor bathrooms.
