Ideal for relaxing visits to the lake and the beautiful, historic university town of Konstanz, Riva is situated in the Petershausen district of the town. A pleasant walk along the Seestraße leads guests to all the most important historic sites of the town, including the Rheintorturm, the cathedral and the Imperia. Popular with water sports enthusiasts, there is a marina close by the hotel, while a number of ferry services provide fast and easy links to the airport and a number of other destinations on the lake.

Accommodation at Riva is shared between the two buildings, both with unique architectural elements. The art-nouveau villa is built around a spectacular self-supporting spiral staircase that climbs the whole height of the building, while the new building features floor-to-ceiling windows that flood rooms with light and air. Noble timbers, light sandstone, marble, sophisticated fabrics and muted colour schemes contribute to the luxurious, elegant ambience.

Standard Rooms:
The standard rooms measure approximately 25 to 35 sq m. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and, in some cases, a bathtub.
Superior:
The Superior rooms have a side view of the lake with a balcony, and measure 30 to 40 sq m. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and, in some cases, a bathtub. One large double bed.
Deluxe:
The large Deluxe rooms, mostly featuring a balcony or terrace, are located in both the main house facing the lake, and in the Art Nouveau villa. The bathrooms are mostly fitted with a shower and bathtub. One king-size bed, one sofa-bed. Room size 40 to 50 sq m.
Suites:
The suites, with a balcony and a separate living and sleeping area, are situated on the lake front, both in the Art Nouveau villa as well as in the main house. They measure 45 to 55 sq m, and the bathrooms are fitted with a shower and bathtub.
Panoramic Suites:
The Panoramic suites offer wonderful views of the lake. They measure 70 sq m, and have a living-room, dining-room and bedroom as well as two balconies. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and bathtub.
Riva Suite:
The fabulous RIVA suite offers a unique view of the lake. It measures 120 sq m, and has a living room and a dining room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dressing room, and a large balcony.
