Nearby attractions to the village include a number of fine churches and historic buildings, the Bauernpfad farm trail, the Maislabyrinth corn maze, and the Seegarten. Popular outdoor activities in the region include sailing and water-sports, cycling and hiking. The Meersalz restaurant combines Mediterranean charm and fresh, regional cuisine with inventiveness and local produce to the fore. The small menu and the daily-changing 4-course surprise menu underline the chef's commitment to freshness and seasonality. Guests can watch the chefs at work or just enjoy the warm welcoming atmosphere of the little restaurant through a window. In the summer, meals can be enjoyed on the pretty garden terrace, under the shade of centennial trees.
