Standing just outside the centre of the pretty little ski resort of La Thuile, Locanda Collomb is a traditional small family owned and run Alpine hotel. This charming boutique property offers delightful accommodation with literary themes in a friendly, cosy atmosphere.

Ideally located for relaxing visits in all seasons, Locanda Collomb is less than ten minutes from the foot of the ski runs of La Thuile. A handy free shuttle bus takes skiers to the cable car and chairlifts, and the hotel also offers full ski facilities, including ski storage and ski pass sales. La Thuile is situated at the end of Valle d'Aosta, near the border with France, before the Pass of Piccolo San Bernardo, and as part of the San Bernardo Espace ski area offers 160km of runs for skiers of all levels. In summer, La Thuile becomes a paradise for hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers alike, with a huge bike park and a wide range of family orientated activities.

As its name suggests, Locanda Collomb places special emphasis on its book collection and reading. Guests can relax by the fireplace for a good read, and guests free to choose from the hotels splendid collection or leave their own holiday favourites if they wish. La Locanda is not just about the sweet smell of books, but also the delicious aromas of home made biscuits and bread, the crackling fire, and the natural larch lining of the rooms and public areas, so beneficial for health. Breakfast at La Locanda consists of farm-fresh milk and dairy products, home-made bread, fresh fruit and bio-jam tarts, and fontina from the mountains. On request in the winter season, it is possible to reserve a table for dinner in the Savoyard brasserie, which serves mountain specialities like ham, cheese, raclette, pierrade and reblechonade.

This suite has a large balcony, seating area and mini-bar It features natural larch wall cladding, providing a unique, healthy atmosphere. One large double bed, one sofa bed. Room size 25 sq m.
Suite with Spa Bath:
This huge suite is located under the mansard roof of the hotel. The walls are dressed in natural aged larch and finely inlaid. With a sleeping area and a lounge zone, the suite features a hot tub, spa bath and electric kettle. One large double bed, two sofa beds. Suite size 60 sq m.
