These range from wine tasting and stargazing, helicopter tours in Aoraki Mt Cook World Heritage Park, cycling on the Alps to Ocean cycleway, or exploring the locations of the Middle Earth of Lord of the Rings, among many other options. Ashley Mackenzie Villa Bedrooms:
Two large double bedrooms have been designed in the style of a European farmhouse, with thick 600mm walls, high wood ceilings, Italian sandstone flooring, lead light windows and double glazing. Named The Mackenzie Room and The Ashley Room, they are located at opposite ends of the villa.  Decorated in soft Tuscan white, they come with neutral velvet and linens and good quality bedding. Restful and light-filled, the bedrooms are romantically elegant. Lead light double glazed French doors and windows frame the magnificent views from these rooms. The French doors open out onto the patio and lawn and one of New Zealand's most iconic and panoramic views over Lake Pukaki to Mt Cook (Aoraki). The super king beds can be reconfigured into two king single beds for twin share.
Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom designed in Edwardian style with tiled walls and a tessellated French Winkelmann tile floor. To add to the sense of elegance, the bathrooms are fitted out with exclusive Perrin and Rowe tap-ware produced by English craftsmen with a passion for authentic design, quality and durability. Guests can bathe at leisure in the bath with hand shower with views to a private garden, or revive under the rain and hand showers.
Pukaki Homestead:
Groups of six to eight people will also be accommodated at Pukaki Homestead. Enjoy exclusive use of the Homestead's guest wing which has two superbly decorated bedrooms, a library, a large bathroom and two courtyards. The Homestead is just 350 metres from Ashley Mackenzie Villa. Only available to parties staying at Ashley Mackenzie Villa, the Homestead offers a perfect blend of privacy and proximity for up to four guests.
Pukaki Homestead Bedrooms:
The bedrooms are large double rooms designed in the style of a European farmhouse. They have thick 600 mm walls, high Oregon ceilings, Italian sandstone flooring, tessellated tiles in the bathroom and double glazing. French doors open to a private courtyard with views over Mt Cook and the Ben Ohau range. Ambient light floods each room with stunning warm light at sunset. Both bedrooms have comfortable super king beds that can be reconfigured into two king single beds for twin share.  Enjoy a high quality restful stay with only the best in linen and drapery.
The bathroom is luxurious and is designed in Edwardian style with tiled walls and a tessellated French Winkelmann tile floor. To add to the sense of elegance, the bathroom is fitted out with exclusive Perrin and Rowe tapware produced by English craftsmen with a passion for authentic design, quality and durability.  Guests can bathe at leisure in the princess bath with hand shower, or revive under the rainshower.
