Located in the heart of the Aspres region, Clos des Aspres is a painstakingly restored and maintained traditional 19th century “mas”. Surrounded by its own vineyards, this charming property combines the old and the contemporary, and offers cosy bed and breakfast accommodation in a warm and informal atmosphere.

Ideal for relaxing stays in this fascinating region of south-west France, Clos des Aspres boasts a large outdoor heated swimming-pool set within a Mediterranean garden, with fabulous views of the Pic du Canigou and the Albères mountain range. Close to the beaches of the Vermeille Coast, Clos des Aspres is also within easy reach of countless artistic and cultural attractions, such as the abbey of Saint Martin de Cuixa, the priory of Serrabone, Ceret, Collioure, and a little further afield, over the border with Catalonia, Cadaquès, Figueres, Girona...

Every morning, hosts Pierre and Emmanuel serve a delicious gourmet breakfast, which can be enjoyed indoors in the living room, or under the arbour by the swimming pool in the warmer months. Guests can expect freshly baked bread and pastries, locally sourced fresh fruit and jams, and many other delicacies. Clos des Aspres presses its own olive oil, which can be sampled on site.

Petit Verdot: On the first floor with a view of the gardens and and the surrounding countryside, the room’s name comes from one of the varieties of vine cultivated at Le Clos des Aspres. The room is equipped with a king-size bed (180×200), an armchair and a desk. Bathroom with an Italian shower, separate toilets and a walk in closet. Room size 25 sq m.
Coté Cour: As the name indicates, this large air-conditioned room on the ground floor has direct access to the patio in the courtyard. This spacious bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed (180×200), a sofa bed (140×190) to welcome another guest, and a desk. Spacious bathroom with an Italian shower, separate toilets and a walk in closet. Room size 35 sq m.
L’Olivière: The room’s name comes from an olive type “Olivière” grown at Le Clos des Aspres. On the ground floor, the room opens directly onto the gardens and has a private shaded space. This large room with soft tones is equipped with a king-size bed (180×200 cm.), an armchair and a desk. Spacious bathroom with an Italian shower, separate toilets and a walk in closet. Room size 35 sq m.
Les Albères: Large air-conditioned family room on the first floor with a view of the Albères mountains. Subtle mix of warm materials and colours, equipped with a king-size bed (180×200 cm.), a sofa bed (90X190 cm.) in order to welcome an extra guest, an armchair and a desk. Spacious bathroom with an Italian shower, separate toilets. Room size 35 sq m.
Les Camamilles: This air-conditioned suite-family room on the 1st floor, with a cosy atmosphere and a view of the Albères mountains, is composed of two independent rooms. The first room is equipped with a king-size bed (180×200 cm.), an armchair and a desk. Second room with a flowery wall paper and two single beds (90×190 cm.) and a wardrobe. Spacious bathroom with an Italian shower, separate toilets. Suite size 45 sq m.
Le Gite du Clos: This 200 sq m. cottage with great character is the ideal place to relax in peace with friends and/or family (maximum 10/12 guests), for a weekend or on holidays. The house is made up of vast harmonious rooms that are welcoming and comfortable with discreet and well-refined decoration. It faces a marvellous Mediterranean garden surrounded by the property’s vineyards. The house is perfectly equipped and air-conditioned: 4 bedrooms with high quality bed linen, 3 Italian-style showers, 3 WC, 1 large living room with a sofa bed and an open kitchen (70 sq m.) with a wood burning stove. This charming and secured cottage also has a private swimming pool, itself safely closed off for the security of children. The cottage includes: A summer kitchen with a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a flat top grill, a large table for lunch or dinner in a sheltered space where guests can sit back and enjoy the fabulous view of the Albères Massif Mountains.
