Enjoying a spectacular location below the medieval castle of Bélesta, Riberach is set in a painstakingly converted and restored wine cooperative. This boutique property offers fine views of the surrounding hillsides and vineyards from the balconies and patios of its rooms and suites. A highly original aspect of the conversion is that nine of the rooms are situated within the old wine vats themselves. For the double rooms, two of the tanks were connected to create a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, while the suites and family suites are made up of three vats.

Perfect for exploring this beautiful corner of Languedoc-Rousillon, Riberach is a short drive from the historic city of Perpignan, while many of the region's most important sights and attractions, including the Cathar castles, medieval abbeys and monasteries, Ceret, and the beaches and harbours of the Vermilion coast are all within easy reach. The Pyrenees are also close at hand, and there are no less than twelve ski resorts in the region.

Guests can enjoy the hotel's broad open-air terrace, with comfortable outdoor furniture and parasols, which leads onto the swimming pool and garden. There is also a gourmet restaurant and a spacious lounge-bar, where breakfast is served.

Riberach has 18 deluxe rooms and suites. All are furnished and decorated in a highly original style, using colours and materials that contrast with the clean lines of the vats. The rooms are air-conditioned and feature a range of modern amenities, including Wi-Fi internet connection, flat-screen TVs and mini-bars. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either a shower or bath. Extra beds or baby cots may be added to rooms on request.
