Description: WhitepodPerched on an Alpine hillside, Whitepod is a unique ecological hotel, set in fifteen geodesic tents arranged around a central chalet. This charming property offers comfortable, cosy accommodation and a wide range of outdoor activities in a magnificent mountain atmosphere.Whitepod offers guests fabulous views of the Valais landscape from the large terraces of the pods and the pod-house - the central chalet which houses the restaurant, reception , meeting room and wellness area. In winter, guests can enjoy a wide range of winter sports on-site, including downhill and cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and dog sledging. Since 2013, Whitepod also opens in summer, with an equally extensive range of activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, dog carting and paragliding. Nearby attractions include Monthey, with its castle and famous carnival, and the four castles of Sion. The 'Les Cerniers' Restaurant is the ideal place to enjoy traditional yet refined cuisine, featuring daily specials, mountain dishes, a barbecue or spit-roast specialities on the terrace. Guests can also take advantage of a number of wellness facilities, including a Finnish sauna, Japanese bath and four massage rooms. Exclusive business meetings and team building events can also be arranged on site.
