Enjoying an enviable location in a large wooded park overlooking the river Indre, Domaine de la Tortinière is a boutique hotel set in a magnificent 19th century château. Run by the same family for more than 50 years, this property now offers exclusive accommodation in a tranquil rural setting.

Perfectly situated for visiting the Loire Valley, Domaine de la Tortinière is just 15 kilometres from Tours, while two of the most spectacular châteaux in the region, Chenonceau and Azay-le-Rideau, are a short drive away. Guests are free to stroll in the 15 hectares of parkland surrounding the château, and may use the hotel's rowing boat for trips on the river. Many other activities are available nearby, including golf, horse riding, cycling and hot air ballooning. Cooking lessons can also be organised in the château.

Domaine de la Tortinière has 30 rooms and suites, all comfortable and elegantly furnished in a style befitting this magnificent property. Rooms are air-conditioned and feature modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi internet access and mini-bars. Domaine de la Tortinière's exclusive Orangery restaurant offers gourmet cuisine based on fresh local products, particularly those from the Touraine region. "Charme" Rooms:
Our "Charme" rooms offer guests quietude, intimacy and modernity. The rooms, fully equipped and very comfortable, are a mix of modernity and classic style, fine fabrics (Pierre Frey, Boussac, Nobillis), antique furniture found in the Touraine area, and each of them air conditioned with flat-screen televisions, Wi-Fi internet access etc.
In the Château, the rooms are on the first floor, with no lift, and have a beautiful view of the park.
In the outbuildings, the rooms are on the ground or first floor.
The rooms are 20 sq m and fully equipped, including: A queen or king-sized bed, safe, mini-bar, Wi-Fi Internet access, flat-screen television, air-conditioning, bathroom with bath or shower, hairdryer and various welcome products.
"Prestige" Room:
The atmosphere that reigns in the "Prestige" Rooms comes from a subtle mix of quality modern comfort and reinterpreted classic decor in a spacious room.
Located in our charming former chalets near the Château, with a view of the garden, the 30 sq m rooms are equipped with: a double bed measuring 180x200cm (or twin beds on request), a safe, mini-bar, Wi-Fi Internet access; flat-screen television; air conditioning; bathroom with bath and/or shower; hairdryer; various welcome products.
Château "Prestige" Rooms:
The atmosphere that reigns in the "Prestige" Rooms in the Château comes from a subtle mix of quality modern comfort and elegant classic decor with a magnificent view of the Indre valley.
The 30 sq m rooms are equipped with: a double bed measuring 180x200cm (or twin beds on request); a safe; mini-bar; Wi-Fi Internet access; flat-screen television; air-conditioning; bathroom with bath and/or shower; hairdryer; various welcome products.
"Prestige Elegance" Rooms:
Located in a charming former garden chalet with terraces, these 35 sq m rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and are equipped with: a double bed measuring 180x200cm (or twin beds on request); a safe; mini-bar; Wi-Fi Internet access; flat-screen television; air-conditioning; bathroom with bath and/or shower; hairdryer; various welcome products.
Suite:
In the Château itself, the suites can be found in the Château's turrets and have a 40 sq m adjoining lounge and a magnificent view of the valley, so guests can enjoy a real castle experience during their stay!
In the former chalets, the Suites are exceptionally spacious, some with beautiful terraces and a view of the valley!

Family Suite:
Located in the Château or the former chalets near the château, for 3 to 4 people, with a beautiful view of the Indre valley, these 50 sq m suites are spacious and comfortable, with a bedroom with double bed measuring 160x180 or 160x200 and an adjoining lounge with a very comfortable sofa bed or spare beds.
One of these suites, located in the chalet, can host up to 6 people comfortably (80 sq m).
