Located in the heart of the historic town of Amboise, Hôtel Clos d'Amboise is a beautifully restored 17th century mansion set in a large landscaped garden. Fully renovated and upgraded in 2011, this boutique property now offers exclusive accommodation in a privileged setting.

Ideally situated for visiting the Loire valley, Hôtel Clos d'Amboise is a short stroll from the Royal Château and the Château du Clos Lucé (the residence of Leonardo da Vinci), while Chaumont, Blois, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau and so many more of the famous châteaux of the Loire are just a short drive away. Guests can also enjoy cycling trips along the river banks, canoeing, golf on several nearby courses and visits to the vineyards and cellars of the region's excellent wines.

Hôtel Clos d'Amboise has 19 rooms divided in to five categories, all comfortable and elegantly furnished. Most are air-conditioned and all have amenities that include flat-screen TVs, free internet access and mini-bars.

Classic Rooms:
These rooms are of around 15 sq m in area with a double bed (140x190 cm).
Comfort Rooms:
These are rooms with an area of about 20 sq m with a double bed (160x200 cm) or twin beds (2x 100 x 200 cm).
Superior Double Rooms :
These rooms are around 30 sq m in area with a double bed (160x200 cm) or twin beds (2x 100 x 200 cm), an extra bed or sofa-bed is available.
Junior Suites:
The junior suites are situated on the first floor of the high-ceilinged main house with a very fine view of the garden, with an area of some 30 sq m with a double bed (160x200 cm) or twin beds (2x 100 x 200 cm), some with an extra bed.
The Prestige Suite :
The Prestige Suite, with an area of 45 sq m, has a large room and a separate salon and can sleep 3 to 5 persons. Located on the ground floor of the mansard house, it gives onto the garden and has 2 entrances with a small private garden.

All rooms are equipped with a bathroom, a hair-dryer, a mini-bar, a flat screen television with access to international channels, and a telephone with an outside line. The rooms are individually air-conditioned (except for two classic rooms on the ground floor of the main house).
The whole hotel and all the rooms have free Wi-Fi internet access. A computer with Internet connection and a printer are available at reception.
