Located in the heart of the Spreewald UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, on the banks of the river Spree, Strandhaus is a newly-built design hotel, and offers luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and a range of unique facilities in a magnificent riverside setting.

Standing on an island on the Hauptspree section of the river, Strandhaus enjoys a delightfully secluded situation in Lübben, and is ideal for relaxing holidays in this charming region. Close to the historic Lübben castle, guests at Strandhaus can enjoy swimming in the river, canoeing or cycling in the Spreewald forest area, with more than 200 navigable channels. Canoes and bicycles are available for hire on site. The hotel also boasts a small spa and wellness area, with delightful views of the river.

Since time immemorial, the Spreewald has offered everything for a varied and healthy cuisine. Strandhaus' restaurant continues this tradition in its cosy dining area, decorated with original artwork, while the light-filled Veranda restaurant and terrace serve traditional Spreewald cuisine based on the finest locally sourced, seasonal produce. Guests can also enjoy drinks and snacks in the charming riverside beer garden.

These very spacious Junior Suites are ideal for longer stays.
