The buildings were completely renovated in 2001 in order to offer the most modern facilities with all the benefits of new technology, but without sacrificing the typical rural nature of the mountain village architecture lending itself to the sense of traveling back in time. The town still retains the original character of a typical Mallorcan mountain village. The narrow, winding road that connects Buñola with Orient passes through some of Mallorca´s most breathtakingly beautiful countryside.
