Description: Finca Son GenerSon Gener enjoys a delightful location in a secluded area in the north-east of Mallorca. This spectacular property is set in a lovingly restored 18th century farmhouse, surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden with olive and citrus trees, a herb and vegetable garden, and a large pool.When you first see the building, you are struck by the luminosity of the light stone of its facade, framed between the greenery of the surrounding lawns and the blue of the sky. The interior of Son Gener is also a celebration of light and form. Nothing in excess, just carefully selected sculptures, sofas, plants, tables, and lamps that seem to create a backdrop for the walls and structure of the building. Son Gener has a spacious dining room, serving delicious meals based on typical dishes from Mallorca prepared with the finest local ingredients. All vegetables are home-grown and organic, eggs are from the farm's chickens, and fish is from the nearby fishing villages. A speciality of the house is home-made Sobrassada, the typical Mallorcan cured sausage. Guests can also take advantage of the indoor pool and spa services. All rooms feature a large terrace, king-size beds, heating and air-conditioning, telephone, television, mini-bar, and safe.
